Computer Science and Technology

1.Targets:
The aim of the major is to cultivate applied computer professional talents who master fundamental theories, fundamental knowledge, and basic skills in computer science and technology as well as have healthy personality, patriotism, social responsibility, international vision and innovative spirits, and all-around development of moral, intellectual, physical, aesthetics and labour education. Graduates should be equipped with system thinking and research ability in computer-related fields, and engaged in computer application system analysis, design, system integration, operation management and maintenance etc.

The core Courses for computer science and technology major include Introduction to Computer Science, Fundamentals of Computer Circuits, Computer Organization and System Architecture, Discrete Mathematics, Data Structures, C Programming, Object-Oriented Programming, Operating Systems, Computer Networks, Database Systems, Microcomputer Interface Technology, Compiler Principles, Building Information Modeling and Applications.

 

Artificial Intelligence

1.Targets:
The aim of the major is to cultivate innovative applied engineering & technical professionals in the field of artificial intelligence, who are well-suited for the needs of socialist modernization. These professionals will have a well-rounded development in morality, intelligence, physical fitness, aesthetics, and labor skills, coordination ability and team spirit.

Students in this major are expected to have a good scientific literacy. They should possess good science accomplishment and master fundamental theories, basic methods, and application engineering and technology in the field of artificial intelligence. They should also possess strong abilities to acquire knowledge and apply it comprehensively, as well as the capability to identify, analyze, and solve complex engineering problems.

Graduates of this major should be capable of engaging in various aspects of work related to artificial intelligence, such as system analysis, design, research and development, operation, and management in fields including urban perception, intelligent transportation, and smart living environments.

Communication Engineering

1.Targets:
To serve the local economy and the information communications industry, the major aims to cultivate advanced engineering and technical professionals with a core socialist value. These individuals will possess a solid foundation in fundamental theoretical and knowledge of communication engineering, strong practical skills, and the ability to engage in research, design, manufacturing, and application of engineering projects in fields such as communication, electronics, and computer technology. They possess a strong innovative spirit and continuous learning ability.

The core Courses for Communication Engineering major include Circuit Theory, Analog Electronics Technology, Digital Electronics Technology, Signals and Systems, Electromagnetic Field Theory, Microcomputer Principles and Interface Technology, High-Frequency Electronic Circuits, Principles of Communication, Digital Signal Processing, Fundamentals of Communication Networks, Random Signal Analysis, Modern Switching Technology, Fundamentals of Information Theory, Mobile Communication Systems.

Automation

1.Targets:
To meet the economic and social development needs of the country and the western regions. The Automation major aims to cultivate senior engineering and technical professionals who are all-around development of moral, intellectual, physical, aesthetics and labour education, achieving unification and coordination of knowledge, ability, and quality. Graduates should be able to master solid foundation in the fundamental theories and professional skills related to automation, and able to engage in system analysis, design, development, operation management, and maintenance in automation and related engineering application areas.

The core Courses for Automation major include Signal and System Analysis, Fundamentals of Electrical Machines and Drives, Principles of Automatic Control, Linear Systems Theory, Microcomputer Principles and Single-Chip Microcontroller Interface Technology, Sensors and Detection Technology, Computer Control Technology, Process Control and Instrumentation, Automatic Control Systems for Electrical Drives, Pattern Recognition and Machine Learning, Power Supply and Distribution Technology, Electrical Control and Programmable Logic Controllers – PLC.
